- What tuition includes
- Tuition includes a laptop, three daily meals seven days a week, weekend activities, health and wellness support, trips, and the college counseling team. An optional tuition refund plan is available at cost.
- Aid at Peddie
- Peddie awards $12 million in financial assistance. 39% of students receive aid, and grants average 70% of tuition.
- Meeting need
- Peddie says its grants are designed to meet 100% of a family's demonstrated need.
- How need is weighed in admission
- Admission applications are reviewed without regard for a family's ability to pay. The final phase is need aware.
- How grants are calculated
- Peddie calculates grants from household income, expenses, assets and family size.
- How to apply for aid
- Families apply for aid through Clarity, adding The Peddie School as a recipient and completing the Clarity Enhanced Tax Verification process. Non-US filers upload income verification instead.
- Aid deadline
- January 15, 2027
- Work commitment
- Financial assistance recipients have no work commitment beyond that of any Peddie student.
- Renewal
- Families must reapply for financial assistance every year.
- Fee waivers
- Peddie grants fee waivers on the basis of demonstrated financial need. Requests go to FA@peddie.org.
- Merit scholarships
- Peddie also awards merit scholarships, from $30,000 a year to full tuition and boarding. Anyone who completes the application by January 15 is automatically considered, with no separate form.
- International families
- Peddie has exceptionally limited funds available for international applicants. Those who complete their application and interview by January 15 are considered for merit awards.
- Payment plans
- Peddie offers a 1% discount for payment in full by July 15, two installments due July 15 and December 15, a monthly plan through FACTS, and loans through Your Tuition Solution.
